We start our writing program with short paragraphs and move on to full-length college essays using the rhetorical patterns of narration, description, process, definition, comparison and contrast, classification, cause and effect, discussion, argument and satire. We also have units on speeches and presentations, making notes and summaries, describing graphs and tables and on writing a bibliography or reference list for a research report. |
